1.How can i construct crossroads or curve roads in Dialux 4.7.5.1, if not, is there another way to carry out that(in Exterior Scene)?

2.How can i put three or more different roads in one exterior scene?

Hi,

you have to create an exterior scene and add "extrusion volume" in order to model it as your street shape.

In this picture I have created a roundabout with several streets. First I have modeled the main area, then I have subtracted some smaller shapes. It is very helpful to use a dwg file for reference.

Hi Albadian,

According to your instructions, I can't find where the" extrusion volume" is. May you explain more details. I' am a new user of Dialux software . I'm waiting for your response , Thanks a lots ( my bad Eng)

PS : i have just found "extrusion volume" :D. And i have other question, how can i draw a circle with " extrusion volume", or i have to insert point and adjust it

Hello kiencon05.

In this case you have to work with helplines (look at the attached screenshot).

After you have insert your extrusion volume you select the option "follow helpline".

Hi,

I did not use the guide lines, for the circular shape I have used the cylinder and I created the curved road point by point, it did not take me too much time and I feel this way is preferable because if you use guidelines Dialux creates the curved shape with a large number of points. In this project I did not need high precision so I design it manually.

Here you can donwload the Dialux example file

Copy and paste into address bar
